Rightway To Make Money In Your Local Market Even In A Down Economy

On the internet there are numerous opportunities to choose from in regards to making money. Some of the best ways to earn money on the internet is to do something that you enjoy and turn it into a business. In my local area where I live I started a business helping local business owners bring visitors back to their websites. This was simple to do, because a lot of the mom and pop business owners have no clue or any experience as to utilizing the internet to bring new business.
You can do this in your spare time, and turn it into a fulltime business once you have enough clients. Here's how it works. Visit your local business, and ask them if they need more customers! You know the answer to that question. Once they tell you yes, you simply schedule an appointment with them and sit down with them and ask them about their business.
Here are 5 things you want to know about your potential prospect.

1.) How long have they been established
2.) How many customers do they have daily, weekly, monthly?
3.) Do they have a website if so how long have they had it?
4.) What is their marketing budget or do they have one?
5.) Do they use social media as part of their marketing arsenal
By now you get the point, but you want to know as much about their business as possible, because the more you know the better job you can do in bringing them more customers. Now here's the fun part of this whole process. Once you set a date to meet with them about their business, you can then negotiate your price for your time and energy on doing their marketing.
Make sure you carry a note pad so that you can take notes on what they want and what you can offer to their business. The next step is you set up a word press blog for their company. But the cool thing is you own the blog, and it is separate from their website if they have one. This would be used for 2 things actually.
1.) If you set up your own blog about their business this protects your interest, so if they decide to rip you off, or do something there not so supposed to...... you can walk away with a tangible asset and offer your services to a similar company or their competition. This also lets you keep up to date with any new items there offering, or if there doing a special for the week or the month ect.
2.) The other cool part is that you keep the data base of customers you've gained so you can control the flow of traffic to their business. So in other words your entire basis is covered in terms of keeping customers. At this point you can sell the data to someone else in the same business. Of course you don't want to spam anyone or solicit people with un wanted garbage, but later on down the line you could run a promotional event, and monetize this event and make money hand over fist.
